About Me
My husband and I have lived in Colorado Springs for over thirty years, raising our two now-adult children. I have experienced changes in my life: moving, new job, changes in career, stages of parenting, the empty nest... My most nagging question has always been about my purpose in life. Why am I here? Who am I meant to be in this world? What are the gifts that I can share? In fact, it is my deepest joy to help people get in touch with their life-giving purpose… one that brings them great fulfillment and sense of belonging, while contributing to the good of others. Work, which I define as “who we become and what we do for the sake of the world,” extends beyond paid employment. It is a sacred invitation to be a channel of God’s grace and goodness in the world.
One thing that I have come to appreciate about change and life questions is that as much as they are a trial, they are also an opportunity! They invite us to reassess what we truly desire and how we want to live. In our longing to belong and achieve, we can lose touch with the voice of the Spirit within. Life Coaching and Spiritual Direction both offer a time for reclaiming what we may have unconsciously forfeited in order to succeed in the world; and becoming who we are meant to be. I have benefited at various times from the help of a life coach and a spiritual director. Walking with them helped me discover possibilities and opportunities for growth in my life. It also helped me to tune into and trust in God's presence and guidance.
Having trained as a life coach and spiritual director has enhanced my capacity as a facilitator of spiritual and personal growth. In Life Coaching, I focus on practical considerations for helping my clients attain their goals, without losing track of soul matters; such as, values, faith, and being true to self. As a spiritual director, I help people listen to God’s voice so as to be the fullest expression of themselves in their everyday life and perhaps discover something new about how they can best live fully and serve God’s purposes.
